Jacky Y. Xu’s teaching emphasizes musical understanding, technical control, confidence, discipline, and the ability to solve problems independently.

Rather than relying only on repetition or correction, students are encouraged to recognize the causes behind mistakes, evaluate their own playing, and make informed musical decisions.

The goal is not simply to prepare for one examination, audition, or performance. It is to develop the skills and self-awareness needed for continued growth beyond the classroom.
